23.01.2009· My mill is a horizontal that has a small B-port head, mounted on a swing-away arm (to facilitate movement of the head without the strain of lifting and moving it), for vertical milling when a drilling/boring job needs doing. In use, the vertical head mounts on the overarm. Switching from horizontal to vertical is a 5-min job, with another couple of minutes to do a tram. Good arrangement.
